    1st photo: One axis is the pillar (the ground) which serves as a foundation for the figure (the stairs) which is a series of axes that wrap around the concentric axis (the pillar).

    2nd photo: This demonstration of axial shows two perspectives. The top drawing is showing the figure as the handrail on the stairs and the ground as the stairs itself. On the bottom I’m demonstrating the stairs as being the ground and the figure is the circulation path itself traveling in a straight axis to the bottom of the stairs.
